Understanding Screen Resolution
Screen resolution is one of the most important specifications of any display device. It refers to the number of pixels (individual points of color) contained on a display, expressed as width × height. For example, a resolution of 1920×1080 means the screen has 1,920 pixels horizontally and 1,080 pixels vertically, for a total of 2,073,600 pixels.
Higher resolutions contain more pixels, resulting in sharper, more detailed images. However, they also require more processing power to render and can make text and interface elements appear smaller without proper scaling.

Pixel Density (PPI)
Pixel density, measured in Pixels Per Inch (PPI), is a crucial metric that relates resolution to screen size. Two displays may have the same resolution, but if one is physically smaller, it will have a higher pixel density and appear sharper.
PPI is calculated by dividing the diagonal resolution in pixels by the diagonal screen size in inches. For example, a 24-inch monitor with a resolution of 1920×1080 has a PPI of about 92, while a 5.8-inch smartphone with the same resolution has a much higher PPI of about 401.
Generally, higher PPI results in sharper image quality, but the optimal PPI depends on viewing distance:

- Desktop monitors (further away): 90-150 PPI is typically sufficient
